Ski Resorts Near Gettysburg:
There are many ski areas within driving distance of Gettysburg Pennsylvania, but the local mountain in Ski Liberty. If you are willing to drive a few hours there is Ski Roundtop, Whitetail, Seven Springs and Hidden Valley resort. Ski Liberty has 16 slopes many of which are for beginners and intermediate skiers. Ski Liberty highest elevation is 1,190 which makes it easy to blow and maintain snow.Most of the ski areas in Pennsylvania are ski able from mid November till late March.
Lodging Around Ski Mountains:
If you are looking for a place to do night skiing liberty is your resort area near Gettysburg. Liberty mountain has a hotel at the base so if you need to stay over night you have many choices. I suggest staying in Gettysburg which is a short drive, the lodging rates will usually be less. Vacation Rentals are also a good option.
