Gettysburg is a very popular destination for campers. There are a few different choices in campgrounds in the small city. One of the most popular places is the Gettysburg Battlefield Resort. The campground is located at the very southern edge of the battlefield and actually spans right over the Mason-Dixon Line. This campground accomadates tents and recreational vehicles and offers many on site amenities. Most visitors love this choice because not only are you camping at the site of one of the most important battles of United States History, but you can actually enjoy live reenactments of the famous battle. You can also enjoy hiking on the Appalachian Trail. This unique campground also offers themed weekend 40 weekends a year making any weekend a unique and different experience for everyone.

Gettysburg campground is another great campground. This campground accomadates everything from tents to over sized recreational vehicles. This is a great family campground that offers a lot of activities for both young and old and also welcomes pets. Here you can find a pool, playground, game room, and a miniature golf course. It is also located close to downtown Gettysburg which is well known for its monuments, museums, and civil war battlefields.

  • Ben Franklin RV Park: Ben Franklin Park is located in York, PA within 5 miles of the York Fairgrounds/York Expo Center. We are a mobile home park currently transitioning to provide sites for RVs with water, sewer, and either 50 amp or 30 amp electric service.
